Our History
On Broadway Event Center was built in 1952 as Suburban Ford Automotive Dealership by Hull Dobbs out of Memphis, TN. The Showroom was designed to showcase new models with floor to ceiling glass and marble finished floors. Hull Dobbs sold the building in 1969 to Claude Hall and his sons Gary & Steve Hall. The Halls named the dealership Arlington Auto Sales featuring Fait, SIMCA, & Sunbeam new car sales until the building was purchased with property in 2019.
Bridgewater Place
On Broadway Event Center is operated by our sister company, Bridgewater Place, which has been in successful operation for 8 years. Located in West Knoxville and offering 9 different rooms at different guest capacities, Bridgewater Place serves as another great option for a variety of celebrations. If On Broadway doesn’t have exactly what you’re looking for, we will happily accommodate your event needs at Bridgewater Place.
